The 51st International Paris Air Show, held at Le Bourget Airport from 15-21 June 2015 – a record-breaking event

  • Exhibitors: 2 303 exhibitors (a 4% increase on 2013) from 48 countries (44 in 2013)
  • Visitors: 351 000 visitors (an increase of 11.4%) including
    • trade visitors: 151 000 visitors (an increase of 8.6% over 2013)
    • general public: 200 000 visitors (an increase of 13.6% over 2013)
  • Exhibition space:
    • 52 000 m² of stands
    • 330 chalets offering 35 500 m² of covered area
    • 0 000m² of outdoor space
    • 26 national pavilions

 

Aircraft: 130 aircraft including the Falcon 8X, Dassault Aviation’s latest business jet that went on show in public for the first time, and likewise the Airbus A350 and A400M. Dassault Aviation’s Rafale, Bombardier’s CS 300, the JF17 fighter from Pakistan, the Boeing 787 and the Airbus Group’s E-Fan all drew huge crowds.

The Air Show was inaugurated by French President, François Hollande on Monday 15 June

 

French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls paid a visit and made a speech on Friday 19 June when the exhibition opened to the general public

 

Twelve French ministers and many French politicians visited the show

 

296 official foreign delegations from 91 countries including the President of Gabon and two 2 deputy premiers, including

  • 147 defence delegations from 87 countries with 12 ministers and Secretaries of State, 40 Chiefs of Staff
  • 59 civilian delegations with 16 ministers
  • 90 institutional delegations
